What buffalo can teach us about fat loss

Did you know that the buffalo doesn't run away from storms? Maybe we shouldn't either.

When a storm is coming, buffalo are known for moving toward it instead of running away.

Because running away means staying in the storm longer.

And honestly, I think there's a lesson in that for us.

We often run from the uncomfortable things:

Avoiding the scale.

Avoiding the jeans that don't fit.

Saying yes when we really want to say no.

Eating to avoid feeling hungry.

Putting off getting started because we're waiting for the right time.

Having a rough weekend and deciding we'll start again Monday... again.

We think avoiding discomfort will make things easier.

But sometimes running from the storm just keeps you in it longer.

The women who get results are the ones who learn to face the discomfort, walk through it, and trust that it won't last forever.

And if you've been trying to do this on your own and keep finding yourself right back where you started, maybe it's time to stop running in circles.

Let's walk through the storm together.
