There’s Something You’re Not Seeing

You have no idea what your week actually looks like.  And I don't mean that as an insult. You're living it.

Monday was great. Tuesday was pretty good. Wednesday got crazy. Thursday you were back on track. Friday was just dinner out. Saturday was a little more relaxed. Sunday was basically a holding pattern until Monday.

And none of those days, by itself, feels like a big deal.

When I'm coaching a woman, I'm not looking at Tuesday. I'm looking at the entire picture. And sometimes I can see a pattern she can't see because she's too close to it.

The afternoon grazing because lunch was rushed. The extra bites while making dinner. The restaurant meal that turns into leftovers, drinks and dessert. The workout that gets bumped because something else needed to happen. Going to bed later than planned because she finally had a minute to herself.

They're pieces of information.

You can't always figure out what's happening by staring harder at your own life. You're in the middle of it. You're trying to get through Tuesday while also remembering the dentist appointment, answering the text, figuring out dinner and wondering why nobody in your house can apparently find anything without you.

Sometimes your own assessment is exactly right. And sometimes you're missing something that stands out to me.

That's one of the reasons 1:1 coaching is different.  I'm not there to assume you're doing something wrong. I'm there to look at what's actually happening, help you connect the dots and figure out what needs attention and what doesn't. Because sometimes the answer is a pattern you haven't noticed.

If you want me in your corner looking at the whole picture with you, apply to work with me here.
