HOW TO HACK YOUR HORMONES

We’ve been focused a lot on stress this month, because well…

Everyone’s got it.

But do you know those times when you’re extra “on edge” and snapped at someone you love, cried in your car, or stared into your kitchen cupboard looking for something to eat?

And you can’t even put your finger on why?

Well, there’s probably more going on under the surface than you realize…

Because stress doesn’t just affect your mood.

It can influence EVERYTHING.

I’m talking about your sleep and energy to how your nervous system and hormones function behind the scenes.

But here’s what most people don’t know:

When you’re under constant stress, your body ramps up cortisol (your main stress hormone)...

Which can throw off the balance of other key hormones that matter to your sleep, focus, mood, and overall well-being.

So even when life seems “fine” on the surface, your body might still be running on high alert.

Over time, that can leave you feeling:

●     Foggy or scattered

●     Snappy or teary for 'no reason

●     More anxious, wired, or on edge

●     Emotionally drained even after resting

●     Like you’re just not yourself

These are all normal responses to chronic stress, especially during your 40's and 50's, when hormonal shifts are already underway.

But here’s the good news:

You’re not stuck with it.

In my 1:1 coaching program, we work on small daily strategies that help your body release stress, not just 'manage' it.

That might look like:

✅ Gentle movement that relieves tension without spiking cortisol

✅ Morning sunlight to support your sleep/wake cycle and energy

✅ Blood sugar-friendly meals that keep your mood and focus stable

Each of these tools helps you eel clearer, calmer, and more resilient… even if you’re busy.

If this is something you’re struggling with lately, hit reply and let me know. I’d be happy to talk through how we can create a plan that fits your real life.
