A calmer, lazier (but smarter) way to start THE NEW YEAR

I hope you’re emerging from the post-Christmas fog (the one powered by sugar, crumbs, and the strange ability to lose track of what day it is).

We’re a few days from 2026, and before the world pressures you into a “New Year, New Me” makeover, here’s a gentler, smarter approach. The one my tired, overextended clients actually use:

1. A 10-minute reset you won’t dread.

Instead of reviewing all of 2025 (no thank you), write two quick lists:

More of This in 2026 / Less of This in 2026.

Your brain LOVES contrast because it makes decisions way easier and cuts overwhelm.

2. Pick 1–2 “domino habits.”

Tiny habits that knock over bigger ones without extra effort.

Examples: water before coffee, a 10-minute walk, phone charging in another room.

Small but sneaky = you win while barely trying.

3. Make success the default.

Not with willpower (she’s unreliable).

With setup.

Put vitamins by your coffee mug, keep workout clothes in the middle of your bedroom, hide snacks behind something annoying.

Your environment makes 90% of your decisions for you — might as well make it helpful.

4. Add one support that catches you on low-energy days.

A buddy, a reminder, or a coach (hi 👋).

Follow-through is WAY higher when you're not doing it in isolation.

If you want a simple, customized 2026 plan that fits your real, messy, beautifully human life…

Just email me (deb@fitwithdeb.com) READY and I’ll send the details.

No pressure. No perfection. Just doable progress.
